You can promote the best of our community by helping spread the word on the following initiatives:
Nonprofit of the Year is a brand new award for 2014, by the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Franklin County in partnership. This is a great opportunity to promote your favorite non-profit Chamber member and help us tell their story. Nominations are due by February 18, 2014 and will be recognized at the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Awards Breakfast, to be held April 10 at Chambersburg Country Club, 3646 Scotland Road. Nominations may be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org .
Hawbaker Award Nomination is sought for 2014. The Cindy Hawbaker Memorial Award is the highest volunteer honor that United Way of Franklin County gives, in honor of our past Executive Director. Cindy was well known as a hard working, behind-the-scenes volunteer throughout Franklin County and built a strong foundation for our current United Way work.
